A Room With A View

Ah, Vegas! Sin city, or more aptly, vice city. Jean and Clint devised a plan to take several of us down to Vegas for a weekend of gambling, drinking, lounging by the pool and shows. We flew out of Grand Junction at 8:15 pm on Thursday and arrived in Vegas at 8:30 pm. Thanks to the wonders that are timezones our hour and fifteen minute flight only took 15 minutes. More »

King and Queen For A Day

Ah, yes, St. Patrick's Day, when a young man's fancy turns to booze. Normally, I may go out and have a Guiness or two, but this year was different. Adriane and I were elected king and queen of the St. Patty's Day parade. What an honor, following in the footsteps of Carbondale legends like Tim O'Rourke and Betty Boop Olsen. More »

Woman's Arm Rastlin'

It is that time again; woman's arm rastlin' fund raiser for KDNK. The Croatian Princess isn't here to defend her crown, so who would be crowned champion this year?

Ana entered, and even with her first round victory, prospects didn't look good for the ultimate champions cup going to Spain. The Hammer was the early favorite with quick and smiley victories. Sheera was also looking strong with her determined scowl and powerful build. The Dominate-rix looked strong and quite fashionable. The Cleavage Crusher did quite a bit of posturing and had a trainer. Status Quo

Alas, I have been quite remiss in my blogging duties, however how many times can you say "Went snowboarding. Epic day! Worked, worked, worked."

After what was turning into the most epic winter in a century, February was a bit of a disappointment. Normally quite cold, this February was warm and sunny. Days in the mid-thirties. Nights in the teens. We have already seen a couple of days in the forties and even the fifties and all of the snow on the south side of homes and on the streets has melted.
