iPHone Madness

So, I got an iPhone. It was not an easy task. My first attempt was thwarted because AT&T won't send a phone to a P.O. Box and my address, while being less than 200 yards from the post office, doesn't show up in the AT&T system. This is the reason that I have a P.O. Box, but AT&T was sticking to their policy. One helpful customer service person recommended that I have it sent to a neighbor, however, the iPhone is so damned special your billing address must be the same as your shipping address. More »

Moon Phase Module

Being as nerdy as I tend to be, is sometimes quite fun. However, it isn't the type of fun that most people enjoy; pounding your head against a math problem until 2 or 3 in the morning. If you look at the banner above, the moon should be very close to the actual moon in the sky. I was digging around and found a script written by Dan Sheeler of the University of Chicago, that predicts the phase of the moon and thought it would be fun to integrate this into a Drupal module.

Master Cleanse - Days 8 & 9

Days eight and nine went quite smoothly, however I could feel my energy draining. At this point many people see an increase in energy, but definitely not me. Barring that, I didn't really have any issues, no cravings, nor was I hungry. I just went about my day, drinking the juice and tea whenever I felt hungry.

Master Cleanse - Day 7

Day seven was pretty lazy. I sat around watching the Marlins get spanked and then went for a nice long walk with Adriane. Then it was back in the comfy chair for some hoops on t.v. Rumors of the energy gain in or around day seven, I feel, were greatly exagerated. As far at the cleanse goes; it has become routine. I still wake up and think that a nice plate of bacon and eggs would be good, but by the time I get downstairs, I'm thinking salt water and a nice glass of the juice.
